WHAT IS SPORT PSYCHOLOGY?

Sport psychology is the focus of mental skills that are related to performance. Along with being physically strong, it is important to be mentally strong when striving to reach one’s best potential. The use of mental skills training can help lead someone to become the best they can be whether it is as an athlete or other areas such as theatre or business.

Viewpoint Performance Consulting offers mental skills training to enhance performance leading to a strong mindset allowing performers to reach their full potential.

SERVICES

Viewpoint Performance Consulting’s focus is to guide clients down an individualized path towards excellence and independence. Our motto is centered around how perspective shapes the mindset leading the performer to reach their highest potential. Mental skills training is used to help these performers develop a strong mindset so that they can continue on their path no matter what lies ahead and become the best versions of themselves.

INDIVIDUAL SERVICES

The purpose of these individual sessions will be to provide mental skills and tools that will allow athletes and performers to experience success. My goal is to help individuals become the best performers they can be through gaining confidence, determination, and motivation needed to overcome barriers, refine focus, and prepare to face any challenges encountered. Individuals will be provided guidance in what is needed to achieve goals and success.

TEAM SERVICES

Along with areas stated in individual services, team services put focus on building a strong group dynamic to enhance the team’s overall performance. This may include teamwork to enhance the ability of each member, group goals to help the team reach success, and mental skills training to help the overall confidence of the team.

ABOUT BRIANNA WILKING

Brianna earned her Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato and her Bachelor’s degree from Colorado Mesa University. Brianna’s professional background includes providing mental performance skills consulting to a variety of ages including youth, high school, collegiate, and adults in both individual and team environments. She has performed mental skills training with participants in swimming, golf, basketball, baseball, soccer, track, gymnastics, dance, disc golf, cycling, theatre, choir, and referees. Her passion for helping individuals, groups, and teams achieve and exceed performance goals drive her to develop performance skills programs tailored to meet the needs of her clients.

Brianna was a competitive gymnast from the age of 8 through high school. She was a member of the inaugural Colorado Mesa University women’s lacrosse team. She is currently coaching competitive gymnastics and absolutely loves helping her athletes become the best gymnasts they can be along with the best people they can become.

Brianna loves the outdoors and spending time with family and friends floating rivers and lakes, camping, playing games, watching movies, and reading.
